VidFare tracks what AI video generation actually costs, per second of finished video, across every place you can run a model. What every AI video second costs, everywhere.

How the numbers work

Every price comes from the vendor's own pricing or model page, saved with a source link and the date we checked it.
APIs: we use the vendor's stated $ per second. Runway credits are $0.01 each.
Credit plans: plan price ÷ credits = $ per credit; × credits per clip ÷ clip length = $ per second. That assumes you use all your credits.
If a vendor says "~", "roughly" or "estimated", we label the row approx. If we can't confirm a price, we leave it out rather than guess.
When a vendor shuts an endpoint down, that row is marked discontinued and kept under Discontinued with the last recorded rate. It is not used for cheapest picks.
Prices exclude VAT/sales tax and change often. Always confirm on the vendor's page before paying.
Deals are a separate list. A discounted $/s uses the vendor's stated rate or the checkout plan price ÷ credits. A code that lasts the first N months also shows a 12-month blended rate. Unlimited windows show how many seconds of video cover the plan price. They are not listed at $0/s.
